- Church softball games
- Singing a reggae version of "Silver Bells" accompanied on guitar by my brother
- Watching Youtube videos late into the night (Carnival of the Animals, Trans-siberian, the 5 Browns)
- Playing Clue at 12:05 a.m. with Andrew
- Thunderstorms
- Fresh Gardens
- Having to watch for garter snakes in the plants
- Vacations
- Catching up with friends
- And lest I forget - endless time for READING and I don't mean textbooks!
Yup - summer is just awesome.

Well, it was more like Andrew was playing reggae style and I was just singing w/ the tempo. And Sam, life has failed you if you don't recognize "The Days are Packed." j/k It is the title of a collection of Calvin and Hobbs comics. :) On the first page of the book, there is a comic strip of Calvin and Hobbs climbing a tree. I'll try to describe it to you as best that I can describe a comic: Calvin says to Hobbs: Is the coast clear? Give me a boost! (up the tree) Hobbs replies: What's the plan? Calvin answers: We wait for Susie to walk underneath this tree and then we drop the water balloon on her! As Hobbs climbs up the tree he askes: What if she doesn't walk by? Calvin quips: Then we just sit in the tree all day. Hobbs: I love summer. Calvin: The Days are just PACKED (with a contented grin on his face as he holds the water balloon). It was actually Andrew's idea to put "The Days are just packed." He was watching me update before we played Clue. He won 2 and I won 2; so I guess that means a tiebreaker tonight. It's funner (is that a word?!?) with more people though. Wow, that was a long reply! :)
