He is Good.

Wow, this week has been a huge one. Reading, presentation, notes for tests, memorization, registration, teacher's convention, lesson plans, teaching a lesson, work, practice -- these words describe what I have been doing the last 2 weeks! (Oh, yeah, eating and a little sleep too!) Wow, it has been grueling. Each day, I say, "God, you are the only One who can get me through my day!" And He has. "His strength is so perfect, when our strenght is gone. He'll carry us, when we can't carry on." Praise God, He is a faithful strong tower. He helps physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially ... My God is an awesome God! Well just wanted to praise Him and thank Him for His help and strength. He never fails!

And now band tour is here, and once again I'm anxious to get on the road again. There is something so special about these tours. I'm so honored to be a part. Band / Choir is a mirror of life, as Mr. Wolf says. Teamwork is key, so doing your individual job well is vital. Each person has a part, and if they don't play their part, it won't be heard. Tuning is an issue -- we always must be tuned to the unchangeable 440 -- God. We must have our focus on the director and follow His leading. We must play our part with passion and excitement and feeling for we are ministers to a lost world that need to see Jesus. Sometimes we play in the background letting others get the spotlight -- and that is ok. But when it is our turn, our solo, God wants us to shine because it is only by Him and through Him that we get to play in the orchestra -- to be a part of His body.

Just some thoughts... from one who has found herself unusually joyful and peaceful today.
